My name is Ross Mair and I am a City Trader/broker who has worked in Oil, Foreign Exchange and Gas/ Electric markets.

I have been involved for years in testing and assessing profitable trading systems and so when Betfair came along everything came naturally. Betfair provided a level playing field with person to person betting (bid and offer) /( back and lay) it was only a matter of time before I started to see the great opportunities that person to person betting presented.

I thought at first this must be easy because I have never seen a poor bookie! How wrong was I, the fact that Betfair is predominantly designed with the backer in mind, the odds are 20%+ higher means me being the bookie (ie laying) plus Betfair commission meant it was very difficult to make it profitable.

How do bookies generate there  odds by making sure they win on every race by having what is called over-round. Does that mean we are doomed?

Of course not the real trick is staking and a good sized bank and that is what I have tried to provide here. 

A professional piece of software that we can use to copy, test and automate whatever systems and selections we want.
